Hvor mange push-ups kan du gjøre på en dag?
I stedet for min planlagte overkropps-økt på gymmet tenkte jeg å idag eksperimentere med litt push-ups ala. ‘synaptic facilitation‘, eller ‘grease the groove’, som Pavel Tsatsouline kaller det i sin bok ‘The Naked Warrior‘, som jeg forøvrig sterkt kan anbefale..
Så, hvor mange klarer jeg? Jeg har ikke kommet veldig sterkt igang, med kun 70 push-ups nå kl. 1325.. Men jeg får se hvor mange jeg klarer i løpet av dagen..

Oppdatering kl. 22:15: Nå gir jeg meg, ca 12 timer etter jeg startet. 400 push-ups ble det, ikke veldig imponerende må jeg si, men det er en start. I morgen tenker jeg å prøve meg på det samme med kroppsvekt knebøy, og da tenker jeg at 1 500 reps skal være fint innenfor rekkevidde. I know, merkelig måte å trene på, men morsomt å teste 🙂
Tenker jeg prøver push-ups på nytt igjen på mandag, skal nok klare mye mer da!
Oppdatering søndag: På lørdag tok jeg kroppsvekt knebøy, og det endte med 800 stk. over 6 timer. Ble sliten/vond under framsiden av knærne, så orket ikke å presse meg mer. Ble litt støl etter begge dagene, men ikke all verden.. Blir nok en stund til jeg prøver dette igjen, men å kjøre noen push-ups og knebøy gjennom dagen fra tid til annen, det vil jeg nok gjøre.. Fin måte å ta noen korte pauser når man sitter lengre tid forran PCen, ned å ta 20 push-ups og 40 knebøy, og back to work 🙂

De fleste ble riktignok gjort hjemme, men tok noen langs gangveien og noen på Wallmart også 😛
